NRT ✈ LAX
Here begins my long overdue post about my adventures in the Great White North!
It began with a squishy experience on United. Friends, be thankful to your forefathers because some of them actually endured a claustrophobic 3 weeks and a shaky Chinese junk, just so you could boast of your inability to converse in Chinese today.
But I've since signed up for MileagePlus, and I fully intend to keep flying on United, so that I keep getting upgraded.

And... hello L.A! No photos of the route to LA because it was just... an ugly expanse of desert. Go google it yourself. Was pretty disappointed when we landed. Like.. THIS IS IT? 4 Seasons of The O.C, and 2 seasons of 90210 later, this was all there was of LA? By "this", I was referring to the crappy terminal which resembled the provincial Chinese one I got diverted to back in '08. Seriously, I expected more from LA.
LAX was modeled in a sort of....palm shape. i.e., the airplanes fan out around the terminals, which are arranged in a circle, their entrances facing each other. Makes it alot easier for inter-terminal transfers I guess, especially if one's travelling from Terminal 1 to 5.

Buildings in LA were mostly like our luggage here. In random places, and in no particular order.
Very messy.
And things didn't get better when we landed because we needed to get our baggage to PublicStorage, and because due to my over-reliance on a bricked Kikuberry, we were unable to check the address of the Public Storage location.
My bad :3 But 2 conniving taxi drivers later, we managed to get our baggage stored, and we adjourned to some..organic sausage place (I think) for lunch.

Wil damn happy that he couldn't see the luggages anymore
I can't find any photos of the sausage now, but I'd never seen hot dogs that big before! And they came in all kinds of incarnations. Turkey with Random Vegetable X and Crazy Sauce Y. That sort of thing. Too bad I was more interested in my travel companions than the food.

Mine.

Nic agreed it was good, I think

ROOOMIESSS

Nicky loved his froyo
Haha yes that's all for now, because all of us were supremely jetlagged, and crashed at 8pm. Miyako Inn gives pretty good rates, by the way. Along with AVEDA soaps. We had a good time pilfering the bath products.

Now if only we'd had the good sense to steal the toilet rolls as well.....
