I justified it by telling myself that I was doing it for a good cause.

The Mother is running low on her Clarins Crème Haute Exigence Jour, and after seeing the steals I've been trying to sneak home, she couldn't help but want to jump on the bandwagon as well.

Especially after I told her that her S$200 Clarins Crème Haute Exigence Jour cost just USD115 in the U.S.. Or at least SGD50 cheaper than Singapore retail stores/Duty Free, even after taking into account shipping. And we're talking about shopping from a reputable department store here, not your strange, faceless Amazon sellers - if you shop with them, you can get it for about USD70, but I'm not risking my mom's face just to skimp on a few dollars.
Clarins Super Restorative Day Cream, SGD50 cheaper than retail. In the U.S.
To make the shipping worthwhile, I schlepped around Nordstrom hunting for something extra to buy, when I chanced upon the FEED15 Clarins set - With the purchase of a Clarins FEED 15 bag, 15 meals will be provided through the World Food Programme (WFP).  So at $32.50, customers get to enjoy a full-sized(!) Clarins UV Plus HP Ecran Multi-Protection , a Moisture Rich Body Lotion, and some lippie, and also the feelgood afterglow you get after doing charity. Good deal?

FEED 15

Beauty junkies in Singapore would know that the Sunblock alone would make the entire set worth it. The Clarins UV Plus HP Ecran Multi-Protection costs a whopping SGD74(USD60 - almost double the FEED15 set, wtf) in the same size, and it's an extremely hardworking little sunblock - the colourless version is creamy, goes on easily, and leaves your skin feeling velvety, and the sun protection is decent. Worth even its inflated price in Singapore. So yes, good deal! I snapped up a set too, because you never know when you'll need a gift ;) I justified it by telling myself that I was doing it for a good cause.
